Leadership
The church is lead by an eldership group of about 6 men and women whose members serve for 6 year terms. The elders provide overall leadership, vision, pastoral care and prayer. The deacons work under the leadership of the elders to provide leadership, supervision and support for the church's ministries. The deacons are responsible for the following areas:
Appointment to all such positions is not by election but by consensus.
Currently the ministry of our church is assisted by one full-time pastor/teacher and several part-time pastors and facilitators.
Our approach to finance is low key. We do however have financial commitments which need to be met. We believe giving should be methodical and committed. It is important that the words of Jesus shape our thinking in this area as with all areas of our living.
